No one knows the divine algorithm, which governs the world for sure.
But at least I can say, its not a zero sum game. There is no mathematics where good karma will be added and bad karma will be subtracted.
Every karma will have its associated outcome. We can understand it by referring scriptures. Even King Dashrath had to face the curse of Shrawan Kumar's parents. None of his good Karma could get him any escape route.
